The Always Divine Alpha Delta Chapter

Alpha Delta

The Always Divine Alpha Delta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., was chartered on March 15, 1926 on the campus of Morgan College under the guidance of Helen Kentrell Nash, who initiated nine outstanding young ladies. On the campus of Morgan State University, the Alpha Delta chapter has a long history of sisterhood and service and has always "reigned supreme in salmon pink and apple green."

The Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has a rich history of programs and service activities in the Baltimore community. In our chapter, we internalize the visions of our founders and reflect them in not only our program and service activities, but also in our everyday lives. We have a longstanding legacy of awards and recognition for our activities as a chapter as well as members who serve our campus and community in various other capacities. Just recently, we were recognized as Morgan State University's Female Organization of the Year.

Alpha Delta has a strong commitment to academic achievement. In addition to excelling inside the classroom, chapter members are leaders on our campus and in our community. Alpha Delta chapter members are involved on campus as cheerleaders, members of the track team, members of the Student Government Association, and presidents of various organizations and honor societies. In Alpha Delta, we lead by example.
